More Vacation

Playing with Wiki sticks when we went out to eat.  LOVE this kid!
Trying to wipe the chocolate ice cream off from him with a napkin.  Do you think he got it all?

Trying out the new donut swing that the cottage had this year.

 Some fireworks.
Monk man was a good sport about taking the little boys in the paddle boat.
 Jumping off the swimming dock
"Hey Mom, you want to see my crazy eye?"
Floating in "Gloria."  I bought this purple hippo float when I was pregnant with my second boy.  I didn't know what he was and I figured a boy could rock this and that I would have a girl somewhere down the road.  The price was unbeatable.  Little did I know what God had in store for our family.

Fishing

This is what my big boys spent a whole lot of their time doing while we were on vacation.
Buggy even spent a little bit of time on the dock with the boys.
His big brother helped him out a lot which warmed my heart.

"Look mom, it's a Buggy perch."
Monk did everything on his own this year from baiting his hook, to taking the fish off himself, and fishing.  Fisherman has a sink or swim mentality when they turn 5 so Bebo was thrown into doing it on his own as well.  He needed some help to get the fish off the hook if the fish swallowed it a little bit.
This was their 2nd biggest catch of the vacation.  The boys cooked it up and ate it for lunch on the last day that we were there.

Summer Vacation 2013

We rented the same cottage that we have rented for the past three summers.  We LOVE it there.  It fits our family perfectly and we always make so many good memories.
Monk and Bebo got new snorkels this year and they used them a LOT.
It was a bit difficult to keep this little guy busy and out of trouble.  He liked to float in the water.

The above picture makes me laugh.  Bebo LOVES meat and here he is eating a big chunk of chicken on a stick.  Also he wore his life jacket at practically every meal.

It isn't summer vacation without a little corn on the cob.

So much fun and more pictures to come.

11 Month Old Baby

My sweet baby boy is 11 months old.  I have one more month and I have a one year old.  This makes me incredibly sad.  The first year is a tough one, but it also has so many sweet things about it.  His first year went WAY too fast.  Fisherman and I were just talking about how it seems like he was just born.  Taking his pictures was a challenge to say the least.  I finally made Monk come out to help me because the baby wouldn't sit still.  He has some mad crawling skills and he is quick!
You are curious and LOVE to explore and you do it all quietly.  You are such a good little guy and you just go with the flow most of the time.
You are still wearing 12 month clothes although you should be moved up to 18 months pretty soon.  You are wearing size three diapers.  You eat three meals a day and still have milk around 5 times a day.  You have two teeth on the top and two teeth on the bottom.
You love your brothers, want to be fed the minute you are put in your high chair, and love to smile except for when my camera comes out.

My sweet baby boy, I love you so much.  I cannot even remember a year ago when you weren't a part of our family yet.  You just fit and in exactly the right place.  I love your smiles and your sweet baby cuddles.  I love how much more you interact with your surroundings with each month that passes by.  I will always love you no matter what.  Love you forever and always, Mama

Our 4th

We started our morning with some super hero hand tattoos.

Then we went to the park for a little while.

Some friends of ours invited us over to their house at night.  The boys had sooooo much fun playing on this blow up slide, getting rides on a golf cart, jumping on the tramp, catching lightening bugs, and lighting off TONS of fireworks.  All in all it was a great holiday for our family of 6.
