That's right, Monk is going to be a big brother in February. We are hoping that the baby will not be born on Monk's birthday, but there is a large possibility that it may. We are SO excited and feel so blessed to be able to experience the joys of parenthood yet again. Our prayer is that this baby will be healthy and that the Lord will help us with being excellent parents. We aren't going to find out the sex of the baby this time either and you can't change our minds! Feel free to leave your comments as well as predictions as to what this baby might be. The unfortunate weekend!
This past weekend Fisherman was gone so it was just me and Monk. We had a couple not so nice things happen to us on Saturday which made it hard for us to have dad gone, one of which included the air conditioner not working so when we were at home Monk ran around with no clothes on. So I think that every picture taken here he is without anything but a diaper on. The picture above is of Monk in the car. He loves to play in the car. It was nice for me to be able to get some of the junk cleaned out of my car while he was entertained.

Sixteen Months Old - 6/8/07 - Monk
Today kid you are 16 months old. Everyday that goes by now I am seeing the babyness leaving your facial features and it makes me both overfilled with joy because you are growing up to be a handsome little boy, but also sad because I want you to stay little forEVER! The thought of your smooth little chest someday having hair on it or your cute little piggies turning into ugly man feet makes me want to hang unto the baby in you forever. The fact that you still love Frankie the turquoise blankie and your nuk lead me to believe that I have a little while before the hair starts growing and you want nothing to do with me.
Love you, Mama

A Timeless Childhood Favorite
In an effort to beat the heat this weekend we turned on the sprinklers for Monk. The water was a little cold, but it was sooooooooo hot, I think that they evened each other out a little. Anything that has to do with water, Monk LOVES. He had so much fun putting the ball in the sprinkler and running back and forth to each one. It was a spur of the moment thing so please excuse the shortless wonder.
