Pool Season

Even though we have had many warm days already today was the first day that we hauled out the kiddie pool.
The boys did everything but swim in it though. They took water out and made mud pies with water and dirt. They threw dirt in the pool and watered all my plants.

We also had our first icy pop of the summer. Every summer I go through a stretch of icy pop addiction. Note: not suitable for children in the two year range. It involves a lot of tears and you end up with icy pop on your driveway.

D-Fest 2010

Last weekend we went to Dandelion Fest. Riding the ponies was the highlight of Bebo's YEAR! He has been talking about it for the last week.
Monk thought it was pretty cool too.

The candy from the parade was a big hit as well.

Feeling a Bit like Summer

I have been lacking a bit in the updating the blog part of my life lately. Spring seems to be a busy time. These pictures are from last week Friday. The day was WONDERFUL so I promised the boys some water activities. I had no idea we would be taking out EVERY water activity that we own. They started with the water table.

Then moved unto the "water slide" as Monk calls it. I was so excited for slip n' slides. I bought one last year on 70% off clearance and found out that they STINK! They don't stay down, they are narrow, and I am sure there will be holes in it the next time we use it. Some things you just need to learn the hard way.

We ended the afternoon with playing in the monster sprinkler. It has been so nice enjoying the summer like weather.
