2011 - A Year in Review

We have had a wonderful Twenty Eleven that is for sure. We started the year off right by bringing new life into our family with a third baby boy who we call Buggy. We all fell in love with him instantly and spent the rest of our January adjusting to being a family of five.

February came and the two oldest boys turned 3 and 5. They had a fabulous Toy Story birthday complete with a Buzz Lightyear cake.

In April I took a spoon full of crazy and decided to take the three boys to FL with my family. Fisherman had to stay home and work. We had a wonderful time really, even though I had a three month old baby along.

July was a HUGE month for our family. My brother got married and we welcomed two more lovely ladies into our family. We had so much fun at the wedding. Fisherman also got a new job during this month. He finished up his old job and started his current one, which he is very much enjoying. We also went on a family vacation for a week at the end of July. We had so much fun relaxing and spending time as a family. Buggy also turned 6 months old this month. Man how the time goes so quickly.

August was busy as well. It was filled with camping and getting ready for Monk man to start kindergarten. At the end of August Monk had his first day of Kindergarten.

September, Fisherman and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. Can you believe it? This month Bebo started his first year in Spanish immersion three school.

October, we went camping with family and friends two weekend in a row. I love fall camping!

November we celebrated Fisherman's 37th birthday with a little surprised birthday party that the boys and I threw for him.

December we celebrated my 31st birthday. Monk was able to go hunting with his Dad and Grandpa and experience a successful hunt. December has been filled with excitement and time spent with family.

We are so blessed and I cannot wait to see what God has in store for our 2012. Happy New Year!

Party Hardy

Our Christmas was a good one. The boys were filled with excitement. Maybe a little too much at times.
Before Christmas we celebrated with Fisherman's family. Unfortunately, I did not get a whole lot of pictures at either of the parties without other people in them.

Monk was really low key this year. He enjoyed opening his gifts, but it sure is nice once they don't ask when their next present is every 15 seconds like Bebo did this year. The Bug enjoyed crawling around and playing with everyone's gifts.

On Christmas Eve we celebrated with my family. Monk is so proud to finally own a DS.

Bebo was excited to have a new bike of his own, just the right size.

After opening gifts we always have treats along with hot chocolate. Bug was able to enjoy a cut out Christmas cookie and man did he like it! We all enjoyed spending time with our families and had a wonderful time celebrating.

Class Parties

I was so thankful to be able to go to both of the boys class parties this year. I had so much fun getting to spend some one on one time with each of them. They were so excited that I was in their classroom. I had to cherish the memories because before I know it they won't be as interested in having me around their peers.
In Bebo's class we played BINGO, made a necklace, decorated cup cakes for Jesus' birthday and ate them.

In Monk's class I actually had to help at the different stations that they had set up. He made a reindeer cupcake, a bag for his pinata loot, and a present for his Nana from Grandparents day.

His favorite part by far was the pinata though. It was two GREAT days of spending time with the two big boys.

Live Nativity

We made our annual trip to a nearby petting farm that has a live nativity. It is always a hit with our boys.
We were able to see a sheep get sheered. That was Monk's favorite part. Bebo's favorite part were the baby chicks.

Cut-Outs

The boys and I made cut out cookies. If I am being completely honest, this is not my favorite thing to do, but my boys LOVE it.
I think that licking the beaters may be the best part.

Bebo cut out, frosted, and sprinkled all the stars.

Monk cut out, decorated, and put sprinkles on all the candy canes.

Enjoying all their hard work.

Christmas Buggy

For my birthday I received a new camera lens and I finally was able to get some good use out of it the last sunny day we had.
I just want to reach into these photos and pinch his sweet cheeks.

Christmas Tree 2011

The Friday after Thanksgiving we went to pick out our tree. I made these shirts for the boys and I really wanted to get some good pictures while picking out our tree. However, when we got to the tree farm I realized that I forgot my memory card so I had to drive back home to get it and then the lighting wasn't very good anymore.
But the boys are still cute

The two older boys LOVED decorating the tree and helping with all the ornaments.

Here is a picture of the finished product. This is probably the only picture that I will get of the tree without all the barriers around it so that the Bug doesn't get into the ornaments. The tree is a bit charlie brownish this year, but we love it.

Eleven Months - The Buggy

Here we are Bug, a month away from being one. You are becoming more and more interactive. I LOVE to hear you laugh and all the little baby noises that you make. I could hardly get any pictures of you because you are so busy and moving all the time.
You have been enjoying playing with the animals in the barn. You LOVE getting into the cupboards and pulling everything out of them. This past month you have learned to drink out of a straw cup and have been enjoying having some liquids in it.

Some things that you don't care for so much this month have been baths and having your face wiped after you eat.

You still only have four teeth, but it seems like there should be some more coming in any day now. This past month you had your first ear infection.

I love seeing you interact with your brothers. The other day they were playing in the chair together and you crawled over to them, pulled yourself up, and started laughing and playing with them. Each day that passes I see how much fun it is going to be to have three boys. I love your chunky cheeks and your smile with your big teeth. I love your snuggles when you get up from your naps. I love you with all my heart Buggy, you are the best! Love, Mama

Lego Mania

On Saturday I took Monk and Bebo to Chicago with my family. The day didn't start out as planned because our stroller for Bebo, my camera, and our coats got stuck in my parents trunk. Luckily we found this out before we left so that we could grab some other coats and another stroller. The only thing that I didn't have was a camera so I used my phone and my mom's camera. We took the train and the boys thought that was so cool.
The biggest hit by far was the Lego store. Here the boys are making little men out of legos that they were able to take home.

Lego Woody

This game turned you into a lego man and your movements made it work. You had to feed the dragon apples. Bebo is still talking about this.

We also went to the Disney store and out for chicago style pizza. It was such a neat experience and fun to watch the boys take in all the neat stuff to see. Thanks to Fisherman for staying home with the Buggy. I think that the Bug had more fun at home than he would have in the big city.

Thanksgiving 2011

I am so thankful for these three boys. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving as a family.
This was what Bebo wore to dinner. When I asked him to take his picture, he asked, "is it fine if I suck my thumb?"
This little man enjoyed his first Thanksgiving. He was able to enjoy some mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, green beans, and homemade rolls. I am blessed beyond measure. My cup runneth over.
