Christmas Day

Christmas day was spent with our family of six.  It was one of my favorite days.  I felt more at ease because I wasn't worried about how my kids were acting and it was SO nice to have the whole day to do what we wanted.  The boys started the day by opening stockings from us and from my parents.  Then we had a cinnamon roll breakfast.
It was this guys first Christmas.
The kids played with their new gifts for a little while, we had lunch, and then after a little nap we opened our gifts.  Buggy's favorite gift was his fishing set.
Bebo and Monk liked their sweatshirts that turned them into ninja's/

They also enjoyed their storm trooper helmets.  Fisherman and I were laughing at them playing with these.
We had a nice dinner of ham and cheesy potatoes and then we decorated gingerbread houses.  This was the best kit I have ever gotten because it had four individual houses.  Less arguing that way.
To end our night we had cake in celebration of our great savior's birthday.  As Monk says, "presents are fun, but the real reason we celebrate Christmas is Jesus' birth."  It was one of my favorite days this year.  Oh and I did try to get the kids out of their pajamas, but they wanted to keep them on :)

Christmas Eve

The night before Christmas Eve Fisherman had some hotel points and took the boys to a hotel nearby with a small indoor water park.  They had SO much fun.  The two little boys and I joined them on Christmas Eve for a little while so that Buggy could do some swimming as well.

For Christmas Eve we went to my parents.  The boys were excited about the 3 DS's that they got.

The Fuzzy baby slept some of the time while we were opening presents, but he got some good gifts too like this little Scout.  Christmas Eve is always a good time spent with family.  We miss my brother and his family all the time, but especially on nights like these.  It was nice that we were able to skype with them for awhile.

Early Christmas Happenings

I helped in Monk's class for his Christmas party.  It was so nice to spend some time with him without any of the other boys.
I also got to go to Bebo's class Christmas party.  He was so excited to be there and to also get to spend some one on one time with Mom.  Gotta love his cheesy grin these days.
We celebrated Christmas with Fisherman's family the Friday before Christmas.  It was a nice time spend together.  The boys got green Ninja shirts along with some other great gifts.
Bebo still likes Nemo.  He got a Nemo Lego set.

Christmas Boys

Not the best of pictures, but I wanted to get the boys in their Christmas sweaters this year.  I am sure getting my money's worth out of them.  I buy them on clearance in advance so I don't spend much money to begin with.

Four Whole Months for the Fuzz!

Turning four months came at kind of a busy time so I am a little late at posting this and I didn't have a whole lot of time to get good pictures of him, which I am really sad about.    He also LOVES to suck on his hands so it is hard to get a picture without his hands in front of his face.  Last year on December 19 is when I first found out that I was going to have my fourth baby. It was such a fun time of year to find out AND to tell Fisherman.  I can remember thinking about having a four month old baby at Christmas in 2012 and just couldn't believe it.  Yet, here I am a year later with a four month old little fuzz.
Fuzz is a sweet little baby boy, but has not been my best sleeper at night.  By this time my other boys were only getting up once a night and Fuzz gets up about two times and more if he is sick which is pretty much all the time.  I have sucked more snot out of this kid's nose than any other this early in their lives.
He is still wearing size 1 diapers.  He should probably be in size 2, but I need to use up my size 1 stash.  He is wearing 3-6 month clothes, but has been wearing some 6-12 month stuff because the length of 3-6 month clothes is not long enough sometimes.  He eats around 7 times a day and takes 3-4 naps.
He is getting to be so much fun.  He smiles a ton even though I can't get him to when I am taking his picture.  He is finding his voice and loves to talk to anyone that will listen. He LOVES watching his brothers.  He is very easy going and just kind of goes with the flow which is great because he pretty much has to being the fourth.  His favorite time of day is bath time.  He has loved it since very soon after he was born.
My littlest boy, I love you to the moon and back.  You and I spend a lot of our time together and I cherish this time.  I love the way you smell and your sweet warm cheeks.  I love our little talking and smiling time while I change your diapers.  I could not imagine life without you and am so glad that we get to have you in our family this Christmas.  Love you always and forever, Mama.

The Shepherds

Monk and Bebo were shepherds in the Christmas program this year.  Monk even had a line.
They both did sooooo good.  I was a proud Mama.

Christmas Cookies

Cut out cookies are not my favorite.  It is pretty much an all day project when you have to still make three meals, feed a baby, and have rest time.  They also make a gigantic mess, BUT I love my boys and they LOVE making cut out cookies so I do it.  You can't make cookie frosting without licking the beaters.
There was LOTS of hand washing going on and instructions not to lick your fingers ;)
monk thought he was a fantastic cookie decorator.  He needs to take his ego down a notch.
The fuzzy baby even got in on the decorating.

Buggy didn't do much more than beg to eat everything.  Good child hood memories...check.

My Christmas Babies

Isn't this the most ridiculous thing you have ever seen?  Fuzz is all, "I'm loungin', with my reindeer antlers on."
Don't you want to reach into this picture and kiss those sweet cheeks?

Buggy so badly wanted to be in the pictures with Fuzz, but was so grumpy when the time came for his pictures.
Those of you that know what I am talking about, can't you just hear him going, "ugh, FINE!"
He was more interested in putting his pants on his head than sitting on the box looking cute.
He also thought he was as small as Fuzz and wanted to sit in the box like him.  Yea, that wasn't going to happen.

Christmas Movies

Our bedroom is the only room that has a VCR player anymore and some of our Christmas movies are still old VHS cassettes.  This just made me smile because the two year old had to sit just like the big boys.

Triangle Tree

December is one of my favorite months for many reasons.  One of them is that we do an advent calendar type thing with the kids.  I bought it at a craft show when Monk was a toddler and we have done it every year since.  It helps them to understand how many more days until Christmas.  It is the shape of a Christmas tree so Monk started to call it the "triangle tree" and it has stuck.  We have some bigger things that we do, but I really love the nights that I get to read to the boys out of their children's Bible about the real Christmas story.  The above picture of Bebo is from the Christmas parade that we went to.
This does not really have to do with the "triangle tree," but I bought the big boys these head bands at the dollar store.  $2 of mega fun.  Buggy's are snowmen, but he calls them "puppets" for some reason.
Bebo and Monk got a special gift from Fisherman and I this year.  I happened to go on the Lego website when they had these 1/2 off with free shipping.  I KNEW that the boys would LOVE them and have so much fun.  They enjoy getting up each morning and checking what their new lego figure for the day is.
A favorite that is on our triangle tree every year is a visit to the Critter Barn.  Bebo LOVES holding the baby chicks.
Wish I would have had Monk fix his hat before I took this picture.
Buggy's age is my favorite for the critter barn.  The big boys LOVE the animals, but when they are toddlers they are just so amazed by them.  Buggy did a lot of talking in a high voice to the baby chickens AND about had a heart attack when a goat stuck his head out of the fence to look him directly in the eye.
Bebo was able to hold the baby Jesus during the live nativity this year.  He thought that was AWESOME!
Another night we went and got our first ever pictures with Santa Claus and saw some live reindeer in a town near ours.  Buggy climbed right on Santa's lap with no hesitation.
