Meet Nemo

This is Nemo or Nemoee or New Nemo as Bebo calls him. While in FL we were told about a Nemo that was found at a local shell store that Bebo would LOVE by his cousin so off we went. Bebo had some spending money from his Papa and Nana and I had a good guess that he would love nothing more than spending his money on a Nemo. He has been really into dolphins and Nemos lately.

So we took him home and Nemo has not left his side since. He gets lost and we have to stop everything we are doing to find him immediately.
Bebo has taken to certain toys in the past like a lightening McQueen car and a little woody that he took a lot of places, but he hasn't liked anything near as much as Nemo. The picture above is how we see him a lot. His blanket and his Nemo right by his face while he sucks his thumb. This is one of those toys that I need to hang onto for him.

Easter 2011

We went to Fisherman's parents for Easter and what would a trip to the cabin be without digging for worms?

The boys and their cousins also got to hunt for eggs.

All three of my boys. Wish it were easier to get a good picture of the three of them together.

Just Couldn't Pass

The bug was sitting in his Bumbo today and giving me such sweet smiles. I just couldn't resist grabbing the camera and catching some of them.
He is so sweet!

3 Month Baby

I took the bug to Absolute Photography to get his three month pictures taken. They have an awesome 1st year baby club that we signed up for. His newborn pictures were oh so sweet and here are a couple from his three month pictures. I just ordered them today and there were so many cute ones it was hard to choose.

Jason and Heather work as a team to capture the cuteness and both are super friendly. With four young kids of their own, they understand the fussiness and have lots of patience.

The Box Van

On Saturday we officially said goodbye to the blue box van that Fisherman ran into the ground, but not without getting the $60 out that was sitting in the gas tank. Fisherman spent some time in the rain syphoning out all the gas. At $4 a gallon, you can't let that go to waste.

Some Changes with a side of Feelings

Here is the post that I talk about my feelings. Some of you may just want to skip over, but I really want to get this down for the ole' memory bank. My feelings may be due to two big AWESOME changes that are happening in our house, but I think that even if these changes weren't occurring I would feel the same way. The first big change is that as of last Saturday night when we got home from FL the Bug has been sleeping in his crib in his own room instead of our room in the bassinet. All week long he has slept 7-8 hours a night. This is sooooo nice only having to get up once in the early morning so that he will sleep a little later.

The second big change that I thought would never come is that Bebo is on his way to being potty trained. I started this past Thursday and wanted to give up. He is such a stinker about it. He tells me when he is going in his diaper and goes downstairs to go in his underwear when I am distracted with the Bug. Anyway today he has gone on the potty four times and I think he may actually be getting it. I am sure we have a long road ahead, but there is hope that we never had before. Here is where I start with the feelings. I have always been pretty content with my life and the way that things have played out for me and I have been happy with all of my life's happenings for the most part, but recently I have been feeling an overwhelming sense of love for where God has placed me. Now don't get me wrong, I have bad days still, but right now I LOVE having three kids and being with them everyday. I have always loved being a mom even though it is one of the hardest things that I have ever done, but since I have had the Bug and got through the hardest part of the baby (in my mind) I just LOVE having three kids. There are times when I need a break and times when I am tired, but I am so happy to have been chosen to be a mom to three wonderful boys. I have been sharing this with Fisherman and he jokes that it is because I am getting more sleep, but I really think this is what I was meant to do. I am so glad that we were able to have more kids. What a blessing!

Cardiologist

We brought Bebo to the pediatric cardiologist yesterday because his doctor detected a murmur when he was 18 months old. My nephew and Dad both had murmurs that were innocent so I was not too worried, but it still is a little scary when talking about the heart. He got hooked up for an EKG, the doctor listened to his heart beat for awhile, and then he told us that it was an innocent murmur of childhood. Such good news. Bebo was SUCH a good patient, but was a little angry when they didn't get a sticker OR a toy out of the treasure chest like the ENT doc he went to a couple weeks ago.

Wednesday & Thursday

Tuesday night Monk went with the rest of my family to a beach near by with really big sea shells and full sand dollars. The other two boys and I stayed behind and did our own shell hunting on the beach behind our condo. Wednesday night some of us went to Pineapple Willy's and I had a daiquiri in a souvenir cup.
Wednesday night I took the boys to a giant sea shell store. They both got a shell and Bebo got a Nemo and Monk got a little shark.
The Bug spent a lot of his time in this tent. He has been such a good little guy.
Monk LOVED jumping in the water. Bebo was also having fun jumping in the pool as well.
Thursday night we went to the Spinaker for dinner and then we went to ride the go-karts. This year was Bebo's first year riding them and he had a riot.
The Bug was such a good sport the whole night while we were out. It has been a busy couple of days. We have been having LOTS of fun!

Tuesday - Shell Hunting

We started our day with some eggs and "Papa bacon." Bebo has not let go of his "bavy dolphin," shell net, and Nemo fish since he got them. He even slept with them. What a good big brother
Today we went sea shell hunting at the State Park because it was a little bit cooler, but still sunny. Monk is such a good shell finder.
Bebo just likes to pick stuff up and throw it in the water.

At night Bebo, the Bug, and I went down to the beach and enjoyed the sunset. Another wonderful day!

Monday in FL

Three boys are having fun in the sun, but they sure do miss their Dad. We ALL miss you honey!
Tonight I took Bebo and the Bug to a souvenir store. Bebo picked out a stuffed dolphin and is in his glory. He LOVES his Bavy dolphin.

Day 2

The view from the 13th floor! Two boys in thier pajamas on the balcony.
Bebo put the Bug's bumbo on his head and said that he was a tater tot. He is at such a funny age.
We did a bit of shell hunting today.

Bebo finally got into the pool today with his ring. He has been a bit timid of the water until today.
The bugs favorite time of the day, bath time.

Three Months Old 4/3/11 - Bug

Today my sweet little man you are three months. I always look forward to the three month mark because it means more interaction and getting to know your little personality more, but it also means that all the little newborn things start to fade away. This past month you have lost A LOT of your hair. I don't like to talk about it because your hair was oh so cute. Now you have this little part in the back/top area that stands up. This is my favorite part. Some days I think that you look like Bebo and then others I see all Monk, but the truth is that you are you and you have your own cute look. This past month has brought so many more smiles our way and has also brought a lot more cooing. I love how your eyes light up when I look at you and how you smile with your whole face.
You LOVE sucking on your fist. I think that you may be heading the way of becoming a thumb sucker like your brother Bebo. I am surprised that I could actually get some pictures of you without your first in your mouth.
You are wearing size 3-6 month clothes, size 1 diapers, and are sleeping anywhere from 5-7 hours in a row at night. You go to bed between 8:30 and 9:30 and get up around 7:30 or 8:00. Bug, I love you so much! I love all the special moments that I get to share with you throughout the day. I love that I am the one that gets to scoop you up from your bassinet in the morning and lie you down there at night. You are such a sweet sweet baby boy. I will love you forever and always, Mama
