Growing Fast

Monk is growing so fast. Fisherman and I cannot believe that he is almost four months old already. Before we know it he will be graduating from high school. His latest and greatest is that he loves to stand up and sit up. He can't sit on his own yet, but he doesn't allow you to hold him like a little baby anymore. He needs to be up where he can look the world in the eye. He LOVES to suck on his hands. I am not for sure, but it seems to me that he is getting some sort of sweet nectar from them. His feet are becoming more and more intriguing to him everyday. I am sure that it won't be long before they make it into his mouth too. He is beginning to grab onto toys and bring them to his mouth. Every new thing that he does is so amazing to me. No one was there to teach him these things, he just does them. How anyone can have a child and not believe that there is a God is beyond me.

Fisherman and I never thought that we could love something so much. Just when I thought that my heart could not grow any bigger it does just by a little laugh that comes out of Monk's mouth. I have officially decided that a baby's laugh is the best sound in the whole entire world. Another one of my favorite sounds is when Fisherman talks to Monk. He talks in a voice only meant for Monk and everytime that I hear it, it makes me smile. Father son interaction is one of life's blessings.

Fisherman and I just got a digital camera off from e-bay so there will be tons of pictures to come. We will keep you updated on what Monk is doing and how fast he is growing. Feel free to post comments and enjoy the pictures!
