Preschool Graduation

 Bebo had his little preschool graduation program at school and it was so cute!  He sang some songs and was just so proud to be up there with family watching him.

 I had a couple of tears.  I feel like Kindergarten is such a big deal.  After summer a lot of his time will be spent away from me.  It makes me sad.

Afterwards his Nana and Papa took us out for ice cream to celebrate.  It was a good night.

Happy 1st Birthday to a Sweet Niece

Tonight my family, my parents, my sister's family, and my brother's family each wrote a special little note on a Chinese lantern and sent them off to remember and celebrate our niece/grand daughter/ daughter's 1st birthday.

Nella was a light and touched so many lives.  I found it so fitting to send a light in her honor into the sunset.

As I drove home, Monk was in the back seat and was quiet.  When we got home he showed me the reason why he was so quiet.  He wrote a special note to his Uncle and Aunt. 

 It read: Aunt and Uncle,

I am sorry that Nella died. This letter is for you.  Happy Birthday baby Nella.  I love you baby Nella.  We did these Chinese lanterns for you.

The letter was complete with drawings of a birthday cake and Chinese lanterns. 

 

We love you Nella Mae.  Happy 1st Birthday sweet girl!



9 Months Old

 

My sweet Babykin, I cannot believe that you are 9 months old.  There are so many wonderful things about you.  You are getting into SO many things already. 

 You are still doing the army crawl even though you are able to crawl normally.  I love watching you.  You use your left arm to drag your whole body across the floor.  You are pulling yourself up unto everything and also getting a lot of bruises because you are falling.

 You are wearing size three diapers and 6-12 month clothes.  You are eating 3 solid meals a day and nursing 6 times.  You LOVE graham crackers because you can eat them on your own.

 I love blowing raspberries on your tummy and hearing you squeal with glee.  I love your curiosity and your sweet toothless smile.

My little buddy, I love you with all my heart.  I love your easy going personality and that you are happy most of the time.  I love to see you interact with your brothers because you love them so much.  When I am holding you I have to give you a million kisses.  I love your baby soft skin and your sweet cheeks.  I will love you forever and always.  Love, Mama

Coach Pitch Baseball

 Monk man started playing coach pitch baseball this year and has been loving it.  He had his first game last night and had so much fun.  He has been able to be on the same team as a little buddy from school so that has made it even more enjoyable for him.

It is fun to watch him this year because he is actually getting to know the game a little better than last year.

Matching Hats

Monk has been playing coach pitch baseball this year and when he didn't get a hat with his jersey he asked if he could get a Tigers hat like some of the other boys on his team.  I found them at such a great price that I got Bebo one too.  I LOVE this picture of them!

Finally some Swim Suit Weather

 Today was in the 80's and it felt so good to be outside.  The boys LOVED playing in the water.
