I still have more vacation pictures that I would like to post, but I wanted to take a little break here to post something about this new special baby that I have forming inside my body. Yesterday marked 15 weeks. Fisherman and I could not be more thrilled that this baby has made it this far. I have heard it's little heartbeat three times already. Each time gives me a little more reassurance. I heard it's first little beat at 6 weeks, 11 weeks, and just this past Monday. I have always been grateful for the gift of my two boys, but this time around I am feeling beyond blessed to be able to have another biological child. My eyes have been opened to the loss and struggle of many families to be able to conceive and maintain a healthy pregnancy with no complications. The pain that goes along with this is unfathomable unless you have experienced it for yourself. There are some days that I forget because I get so caught up in "life," but I am reminded time and time again of how blessed I am. We won't be finding out the sex of the baby. I am tempted to believe me, but right now my main focus is my two boys and I need to focus on those two primarily until there are three in my arms. People ask me if I want a girl. That seems to just be a main topic when you already have some of the same sex. IF you would have asked me this question a year ago my answer would have been completely different. I think that some space in my heart will always desire a daughter, BUT I would be over the moon with a healthy baby boy. I know that no matter what I am given or when I am given it, my family will be complete and it will be perfect for Fisherman and I. I am very much looking forward to feeling the baby move in the next couple of weeks and have the ultrasound on the calendar.
