A Boy Who Sits

All of a sudden this boy started sitting on his own.  He can only sit for a couple of minutes, but I know he will be a pro in no time.

6 Month Fuzz

Hey little man, I cannot believe that half of a year has passed.  When I look at you and think about all that you can do and how much you have developed I think about how it seriously seems like yesterday that you were a little sack of potatoes in my arms and I just brought you home from the hospital.  This last month has been a little bit of a tough one, but has made life SO much better for both of us.  You now go to sleep on your own and are taking three predictable naps a day.
You are wearing size 2 diapers, size 6-12 month clothes, and have been having two solid meals a day.  You are still getting milk about 7 times a day and getting up once during the night in the early morning.
You are a happy little baby and love to smile at those around you.  You love to be held or just sit by someone.  Your brothers are GREAT at entertaining you and your face lights up when they are around.
In the last week I have given you some puffs to eat.  You do really well with them and it has been kind of funny to watch your facial expressions when you eat them.  Your hand eye coordination has come a long way in the last couple of weeks.  You are able to grab things and are playing with toys even more than before.
Fuzz, I am so madly in love with you.  You and I spend a lot of time together and I enjoy being your favorite person right now.  Your smell and your baby soft skin are intoxicating.  I love getting your snugly sleeper goodness out of your crib each morning.  Although I really want time to slow down I am looking forward to what the next month has to offer.  I love you with all my heart, Mama.

Happy Valentine's Day

We had a good Valentine's Day at our house.  I maybe went a little overboard with the celebration, but I have boys and I am not sure how long I will be able to make heart things and make them wear red.  Buggy woke me up on time so I made red heart shaped pancakes for breakfast.

They can't put hearts and stuff on boys shirts so they just put goofy/lame sayings on them instead :)

We had heart shaped pizza for dinner.  After dinner we toasted with sparkling grape and had mini red velvet cupcakes for dessert.  So fun!

Water Park

Here are some more pictures from the water park.  It was SOOOOO nice to take the two big boys to the water park to celebrate their birthdays.  My parents were willing to take the two little boys overnight to make it all happen.  They deserve a HUGE thanks because the little boys are a tough gig.  This gave Fisherman and I the opportunity to do whatever the boys wanted to do and we didn't ever have to say I can't because I have to hold Fuzz or watch Buggy.
Bebo LOVED the lazy river.  I think it was because he could touch the ground in there.  He spent much of his time in there and in the hot tub that you had to be 5 to go in :)
Monk gave most of the things a try.  I was surprised that he was willing to go on the big slide by himself, but he is 7 now.

Monk even tried wake boarding in the flo-rida.  I was a little nervous, but he did great!
If you know Monk well, you know it takes A LOT to tire him out.  He was cashed on the way home.
and of course our little thumb sucker was too.

The 8th in Pictures

The night before Monk's birthday we went to a water park to celebrate Bebo and Monk's birthday so he woke up in a hotel, but the birthday monsters STILL decorated the room with streamers and balloons.
He has wanted this pokemon DS game for awhile now.
He tried most everything in the water park.  He is getting so big.  We went to the water park with just the two big boys.  It was soooo nice to be able to spend some one on one time with them.  After the waterpark we came home to get the two little boys.
 Monk got a helicopter too.
He went outside and built this fort.
For dinner we had teriyaki pork tenderloin and home made mac n' cheese, his favorite.  We ended the night with cupcakes.  Another GREAT birthday.

The 6th in Pictures

The birthday monsters decorated Bebo's bunk.  He had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night so he was surprised then :)  He got up and opened his first present which were Angry Birds pj's.  This was PERFECT because it was pajama day at school.
He was the star at school.
Monk came to visit his classroom during his snack time so here Monk is sharing with the birthday boy.
Happy Donald's lunch on the "Special Day" plate.
He decorated cupcakes for the whole family.  Blue Star Wars cupcakes with sprinkles.
A new Angry Bird DS game.
 A helicopter
And a Superman Cape.  Bebo LOVES playing with a cape like this at school and I knew it would be a hit around here with 4 boys.
For dinner we had Bebo's favorite, spaghetti and then ate our cupcakes.  It was such a fun day!

7 Years Old for my 1st Boy

Sadly, I don't have a digital picture of Monk as a newborn.  When he was around 4 months is when we finally entered the world of digital cameras.

Here he is in all his 7 year old goodness.
Monk man, I cannot believe that I have been a Mama for 7 whole years.  You are such a wonderful boy and I find myself so proud of the little man that you are becoming.  You have a good heart and care for those around you.  You are very creative and love to figure out how things work.  You are loving first grade and your teacher this year.  You are a fabulous big brother and very willing to help out with the little brothers if I need you to.  It has been a little hard for me in the past year because you are becoming more and more independent and you need me for less and less.  You are still willing to give hugs and kisses, but it is getting harder for me to convince you to hand them out.  Buddy, I love you so much.  The moment I held my first boy in my arms, my heart grew SO big.  I love you to the moon and back and I will always love you no matter what you bring my way.  Love always, Mama

Happy 5th to My 2nd Boy

And here is his goofy little self at 5 years old.
To my dearest 5 year old Bebo,
You didn't want me to take these pictures AT ALL.  Sometimes you HATE having your picture taken and other times you are begging me to take it.  You will say, "Mom, you should get a picture of this."  It might be the difference between being asked and asking yourself.  You have grown up a lot in the last year.  You and Monk have become even better friends than you were before because now you can do most of the things that he does like play with legos, play the DS, and Just Dance on the Wii.  You are a home body.  Your favorite place to be is at home with your B and being able to suck your thumb.  Yup you still suck your thumb and you are 5.  Sometimes I feel like I should help you to stop sucking it, but it brings you so much comfort in this crazy world that we live in and I know for sure that you won't be sucking it when you go to college.  If I ask you to cuddle with me you usually say no, but if I am sitting with you downstairs, you most often come over on your own for a little snuggle time with mom.  I LOVE this.  You have always been a GREAT snuggle buddy  I love how you care for your brothers.  You always look out for them and make sure that they have equal.  You love to be goofy and laugh at yourself often.  Bebo I loved you from the moment I knew you would be mine.  I cannot imagine our family without you.  I will always love you no matter what.  Love, Mama
